Over 50 Volunteers Turn out for Wasatch Back Relay Breakfast

The breakfast, which benefited Best Buddies Utah, took place at the 30th exchange along the Wasatch Back Relay route.  The relay, a 188 mile long course spanning from Logan to Park City, Utah boasted the largest turnout ever, with 650 teams running over a two day period.

Each team consisted of 12 members, with individuals running three legs ranging from 3-8 miles.  Along the course, runners were able to refuel at the Wasatch Back Relay breakfast.

Beginning at 4:00am Best Buddies volunteers arrived to begin serving breakfast to the runners.  The breakfast, which was catered by Angela's Catering, supplied runners with breakfast burritos, fruit, juice, and an array of muffins and pastries.

Just over 50 volunteers turned out for the breakfast, which will benefit Best Buddies programs across the state of Utah.  Best Buddies would like to thank all of the volunteers who generously gave of their time and talents to make the breakfast a success.

Additionally, we would like to thank Ragnar Relay and Operation Kids for their continued support of the Best Buddies mission.
